Maintenance

Regular truck maintenance is essential. It ensures the truck is working to its maximum performance and provides peace of mind when it comes to operator safety.

C&D Fork Trucks offer unrivalled local service support, with qualified and highly skilled service engineers capable of working on all makes and models.

Planned Maintenance

Regular, planned maintenance of your forklift truck by our fully qualified engineers can reduce your overall running costs. We can diagnose issues before they become obvious, reducing truck downtime and unplanned costs.

We understand that each and every customer's application is different, that's why we offer flexible packages, designed to your specific requirements, to ensure that your fork lift trucks are fully functional, preventing downtime.

Our qualified engineers can visit your premises and examine and repair your vehicles as often or as little as you require. Whether you require us to carry out essential maintenance every month, every few months or just once a year, we will work with you to establish the frequency of planned maintenance visits and the best week, day and time to undertake the work in order to minimise disruption of your truck use.
We offer bespoke maintenance contracts to satisfy all your individual requirements.

Our maintenance programmes are competitively priced and fixed price agreements are available on a pay monthly basis or as the service is carried out.

Breakdown Response

Unfortunately even with planned maintenance there may be times where your truck breaks down.

C&D Fork Trucks prides itself on rapid response to breakdown and we aim to respond to all emergency breakdowns within 2-3 hours of your call.

We have a high first fix rate, but for major jobs we can provide a replacement forklift truck to cover you until we can get you up and running.

We have a one off call out fee to cover all travel time and expenses to get to your breakdown at your premises. If a return journey is needed for the same job when we have received parts there will be no call out charge.

Fork Truck Repairs

Outside of your fork trucks standard maintenance agreement and thorough examinations C&D provide repair quotes for any faults identified.
We will advise on the quote what we believe to be an absolute necessity to repair immediately, as well as the repairs which can be monitored throughout the maintenance programme. The repairs can be carried out on your premises at a time which is convenient to you.
